On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the first Love Parade, Dr. Motte and nineties berlin are looking for videos and photos of the Berlin Love Parade between 1989 to 2003 for our next special exhibition.

In the space of the exhibition, where visitors can find original wall elements, a large 270 degree aerial photo of Berlin was installed a couple of days ago.

since january 2020 you can find the exhibition parts on the history of the loveparade in the free exhibition "we did it with love" in the atrium of the mall of berlin - curated by the father of the loveparade, dr. motte, and nineties berlin. here you can see the exact location. 

on july 1, 1989 the loveparade moved through west berlin with 150 people for the first time. the movement shaped a whole era, for an entire generation it was an expression of a new zeitgeist of creativity and new beginnings. go on a journey through the history of the largest techno parade with lots of information, pictures and original objects.

“We did it with love” is part of the rave the planet initiative, which aims to bring the largest inner-city dance floor of electronic music to berlin. that's why it asks the world: do you want to party on the biggest dance floor?

This question is to be answered with the help of a fundraising model in the Mall of Berlin. those Interested can donate small, handmade figures to the 48 meter long model of the empty Straße des 17. juni street. each stands for a loud "yes" – "yes" for an ad-free festival, "yes" for the world cultural heritage techno and "yes" for the protection of club culture.
