berlin, august 22, 2019 – for the long night of museums on August 31, 2019 nineties berlin opens its doors between 6 pm and 2 am . in addition to the permanent exhibition and the current special exhibition "30 years of loveparade" we have again prepared an exciting program and dedicate this night to the loveparade, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year. We are therefore happy to welcome dr. motte, the father of the loveparade, for our exclusive program.
throughout the night, visitors will have the opportunity to print one of the highly limited t-shirts with loveparade motifs with Druckbarwedding and a take a picture with dr. motte. in addition, the father of the loveparade together with nineties berlin curator michael geithner will give guided tours of the special exhibition at 7 pm, 8 pm and 11:30 pm. what cannot be missing in such a night? exactly, electronic music. dr. motte will therefore play an exclusive set in the exhibition starting at 8:30 pm. later dj gggeis takes over and lets the long night of museums end musically. a special highlight: on the 286 m2 panorama screen a digital exhibition with photos of loveparade participants from the year 1996 can be seen from the book "portrait of a generation" by the internationally known photographer alfred steffen. At 10:30 pm he will personally report about his creative work at the loveparade.
